Amazing ice cream! Their prices have increased quite a bit lately, but it's worth it for a treat.

The food: I am an ice cream connoisseur. However, it is extremely difficult to find ice cream shops, that put frankly: don't suck. I don't want to eat ice cream that is 4% butter fat, and mostly sugar and water and stabilizers and air. That type of ice cream is disgusting trash. The richest ice cream has a butterfat percentage of 18 to 20%. That's because it is made with lots of heavy cream and whole milk. With tempered egg yolks, it can be even higher. I called this ice cream shop in advance and they told me that the dairy for their ice cream comes from a single dairy farm, and they make all of their ice cream in house, and their frozen custard is free of stabilizers except for natural ones possibly like gelatin, just like the old days, before agar, locust bean gum, guar gum, etc. with a high butterfat and rich creamy taste. If they are telling the truth, I had got to say that their vanilla homemade custard is outrageous. I'm not sure if they add egg yolks because the frozen custard is pearly white, but a small vanilla frozen custard is so deliciously rich that I will never forget this ice cream shop. It is so refreshing to know that ice cream is still produced without adulterating compounds that make me feel sick after eating it. The service: The employees are quick, attentive, helpful, and direct. Exactly what a customer needs. The ambiance: There was an old ice cream shop I used to go to as a kid called that had a few delicious ice cream flavors with one of them being called "sweet cream, which is the most delicious ice cream I've ever tasted in my life. It is just like that. Quiet yet filled with cheerful, smiles and lighthearted conversational noise, slightly cold, but not too cold and has that sweet, cold, creamy milk smell in the background that you can almost taste. (I am like Ego, searching for my mother's ratatouille.) Thank you so much to Royale Crown. I appreciate the experience you gave me. I am grateful to know that I can come to your shop anytime during your business hours to collect the most affordable tasty treat I can find in South Jersey.

Ordered to-go. Ordered a sandwich and fries. Then got in ice cream line. Had the blueberry soft serve. Regular food took way too long to come out. Stood through a 15-20 person ice cream line that wasn't moving that fast and still got the ice cream before the food. Had to ask twice where my food I already had paid for was as I stood with my ice cream (glad I got it in a cup). Ice cream was delicious though.

Legit homemade custard. Legit homemade water ice. Legit homemade ice cream. Legit hoagies, steaks, and grinders. Legit. Legit. Legit.

Fast friendly service. Excellent ice cream made with quality ingredients. Large portions.

Pictured are chicken nuggets, french fries, and a 4 scoop ice cream flight. The ambiance at Royale Crown is very cute and old school. I do not recommend eating dinner here, they were pretty pricey for mid quality food. But, the ice cream was very good! We really loved the birthday cake ice cream. Will definitely be coming back to try the blueberry as I hear that's what they're known for.

The Hammonton Blueberry flavor with hot blueberry sauce is out of this world! Nice employees and old school charm. Plan to stay in line for 15 min.

I Yelp searched frozen yogurt on our way home from the shore and found this bright and sunny shop. No frozen yogurt, so twist my arm for real ice-cream! My HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAKE was so damned good! Joey's chocolate peanut butter was to die for! Extensive menu. I failed with a usual picture because we dove right in!!!
